Striving towards attaining art therapy licensure, BATA will be hosting Advocacy Day at the Ohio Statehouse.
Are you ready to make a difference? BATA Advocacy Day is a way for you to make your voice heard! BATA is advocating for expanded access of art therapy service and preventing client harm by ensuring art therapy is only provided by those who have the required education, qualifications, and credentials!
BATA's lobbying firm, Batchelder, will be scheduling morning/ afternoon meetings with your legislators. The BATA Art Therapy Gallery is open to art therapists, legislators and their offices from noon - 1:30 pm at the Thomas Worthington Center. There will be art therapy images on display, an interactive presentation, and food to enjoy! There will also be a tour of the statehouse offered at 2 pm.
