"Trauma Informed Art Therapy." The course will enhance your art therapy skills with children, adolescents, and adults and increase your practical knowledge of neuroscience, somatic approaches, mindfulness practice and resilience-building.  Participants will receive a Trauma Certification for 2 units for the 8 hour course.

Cathy Malchiodi, PhD, ATR-BC, LPCC , has given over 300 presentations nationally and internationally on her work with children, adults, and families and is the author of 12 books on art therapy, including Handbook of Art Therapy and Creative Interventions for Traumatized Children. She is an adjunct professor for Lesley University and a Certified Trainer for the National Institute for Trauma and Loss.
