This two-day conference is the largest gathering of Ohio social workers and provides over thirty workshops and trainings on some of today’s most pressing social issues.

Our 2013 keynote presentations include Alice Skirtz, author of "Econocide: Elimination of the Urban Poor,” and Melissa Bilancini, who will examine current and emerging social policies that promote inequality and ways we can work together to prevent and reverse some of these trends. The 2013 conference will also host the inaugural "State of Social Work Address” to provide a comprehensive overview of current issues impacting the profession.

Workshops will cover a range of topics, including human trafficking, transgender cultural competency, autism spectrum disorders, and new research on the brain.
